| Customer Reviews: Awesome book! September 11, 2008 Jennifer L. Daubenmire (Logan, Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is the exact same as the hardcover, bound version. It has the glossy, colored pages including the paperback cover. It is 3-hole punched to put into a binder and is easy to carry and use. My professor was impressed with it. I put it in a 1 1/2" binder and it fit great. No complaints from this girl!
Juvenile Delinquency Theory, Practice and Law Loose Leaf October 30, 2009 Monica Lakay Smart 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book is in excellent condition. I will advise all of my classmates to start investing in loose leaf text books and to let them know to check Amazon.com first. I am very happy with this purchase.
Sufficient, but not perfect April 3, 2010 N. Yu (San Francisco, CA) I use this textbook for one of my classes and I must say it's a bit of a dense book.
I feel that sometimes I'm drowned with an excess of information, when a concept could be explained quite simply. However, it does goes in depth with concepts that need it, although there could be tweaks and improvements there.
Overall, it's an interesting book and will command interest every once in a while. I love the segments that provide a relatively recent example of say for example, juvenile serial killers. To me, that brings application and appeal. Otherwise, it's not a torturous book for many college students like me. Generally, it is a good supplement to any juvenile delinquency class.
