Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Formerly a Nelson Hall title, this comprehensive introduction to the basics of criminal justice research introduces simple research methodologies and gradually advances to more complicated ones. The text describes elementary descriptive and inferential statistics, demonstrates research techniques, and examines the various scientific perspectives used in research today. This approach encourages students to think critically about the research they will encounter in their studies as well as think about ways they can conduct their own research.

It was a great book, in excellent shape and worth the price. I was surprised how great the shape and conditions. I will order from there again.

5 out of 5 stars Product in better condition than described   March 3, 2010
XcessHubris (CT)
Excellent, exactly what I have come to expect from Amazon and their affiliates. Arrived earlier than promised and in better condition than description had led me to believe.

2 out of 5 stars What were they thinking?   March 10, 2010
Ronald Shaver (Las Vegas, NV, USA)
There are a lot of books out there on research design and statistics and this one doesn't really contribute much to that already overcrowded filed. It is confusing in places although they do make good points from time to time. This book is only for the experienced student.
